News: As of May 1, 2013, Dr. Boss met the requirements for dental licensure in Australia. This was a two year process involving taking the board exams like I did in 1996. Written exams and clinical and oral exams were all required. While I have no immediate plans to move to Australia, I enjoyed the challenge. It took me above and beyond the Illinois requirements for continuing education and combined my 16 years of experience with a return to the studying and testing format. While there have been small changes in dental practice and standards over the years, I feel this sharpened my awareness of the complexity of dental practice and reinforced my commitment to a comprehensive treatment approach.
After Thanksgiving Dr. Boss will be away for a professional development course at the Sydney Dental Hospital in Australia. Ashlee will be available for scheduling, and we still have some availability in December.
